Safety
Monsoon Bike, Scooter and Car Rental Safety Guide
Heavy rain changes grip, braking distance, visibility and route reliability. Delay or change the plan when flooding, strong wind or poor visibility makes travel unsafe.
Wet-weather inspection
Check tyre tread and pressure, brakes, lights, indicators, horn and mirrors. For cars, test wipers, demisting and washer fluid.
Use a correctly fitted, undamaged helmet with a clear visor on a two-wheeler.
Change how you travel
Reduce speed smoothly, increase following distance and avoid abrupt braking or steering. Painted markings, metal covers and standing water can be slippery.
Do not enter water when depth, road surface or current is unclear. Follow official diversions.
Know when to stop
Pull over at a safe permitted place if visibility falls or the vehicle behaves abnormally. Contact support rather than continuing only to meet a return deadline.
Ask how weather-related extensions and cancellations are handled before the booking begins.
